VISUALIZATION OF AIRFLOW FROM SPACE HEATERS WITH TURBULENT MODELS

چکیده

This article reports the results of research on application turbulent model to fluid flow in cavities. was developed using kinetic energy equation k, dissipation ɛ and temperature variance θ2 applying damping function f. While equations about tensor stress vector heat flux are formulated algebraically. simulation is carried out at Rayleigh number Ra = 5 x 1010. applied a three-dimensional cavity form cube room with ratio 1:2:3. The were validated experimental Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS) numerical data. Validation shows that can predict relatively according DNS results. Besides that, this simple, easy use, grid size quite applicable for simulation, it stable convergence time fast. From be concluded easily fairly accurately indoor airflow
